How to sign in with UAE PASS

It takes about a minute. This is what happens.

How to sign in with UAE PASS

What is UAE PASS?

UAE PASS is the national digital identity for citizens and residents of the UAE. It lets you sign in to many government and private services with one secure account, using an app on your phone instead of a separate password for each service.

Before you start

  • A smartphone with the UAE PASS app, installed from your phone's official app store.
  • A verified UAE PASS account. If your account is not verified yet, the app explains how to verify it.
  • Your phone nearby, with notifications turned on for the UAE PASS app.

In this demo

The UAE PASS step is simulated. No real UAE PASS account, app or personal data is used. Instead of approving in the app, you pick one of the demo identities on a simulated consent screen and choose Allow and continue.

Step by step

  1. 1Select Sign in with UAE PASSOn the Solvex sign-in page, choose Sign in with UAE PASS. You are taken to the UAE PASS sign-in screen.
  2. 2Identify yourselfEnter the email, mobile number or Emirates ID linked to your UAE PASS account, as the screen asks.
  3. 3Approve in the appA request appears in the UAE PASS app on your phone. Check that it is for Solvex, then approve it with your PIN or your phone's biometrics.
  4. 4Consent to shareReview the details Solvex asks for: your name, email and mobile number. Choose to allow sharing to continue.
  5. 5Return to SolvexYou come back to Solvex signed in. Your cases appear, or you can create a new tenancy record.

Troubleshooting

I don't have a UAE PASS account

Download the UAE PASS app and follow its steps to create and verify an account, then come back and sign in.

The request did not reach my phone

Check that you entered the details linked to your UAE PASS account, that the app is up to date and that notifications are on. Then try again.

My mobile number has changed

Update your mobile number in UAE PASS first. Solvex receives the details held by UAE PASS each time you sign in.

The request timed out

Approval requests expire after a short time. Go back to the Solvex sign-in page and choose Sign in with UAE PASS again.

I declined by mistake

Nothing is shared when you decline. Start again from the Solvex sign-in page.
